This Friday, I am more grateful than ever.

Our Enduring Love portrait project pop-up exhibit party was yesterday.

And after many months of planning, photographing, editing, producing, and imaging – this project came together and was showcased as a perfect harmony of beautiful love stories.

To see a project go from idea to reality is one of the most humbling experiences I know. To watch this seed of thought come to life in a beautifully inspiring evening leaves me in awe.

I was walking around the full room yesterday, and for a moment, it felt like an out-of-body experience. I saw couples admiring other couples’ portraits. Another couple and their guests were standing in front of an easel, reading the love story of one of the other couples. I heard laughter and joy-filled conversations as patrons were standing around the beautiful Capen House on the Polasek grounds, enjoying a glass of wine and tasty hors d’oeuvres.

I LOVE it when a portrait becomes more than just a beautiful photograph.

Last week one of our VIP clients flew down from North America for a very special portrait session.

He’s been on an incredible health journey and has put in HOURS of work, discipline, sweat and commitment to transform himself.

He wanted to document the changes he was seeing in his body. 

When we sat to review his proofs and he saw his new portraits for the first time, he was absolutely blown away, beside himself with joy.

Because suddenly, he could SEE it.

All the work.
All the hours.
All the sweat.

One of the best calls I ever received was from Kathrine’s husband Kenneth.☎️ Kenneth called to thank me for his wife’s beautiful new headshots and tell me he is blown away by them, so much so, that he wants to book a headshot session with me!📸 Then the call got even better – Kathrine and Kenneth decided they wanted to be part of our Enduring Love project. 😁How exciting is that?? We just photographed Kathrine and Kenneth’s Enduring Love portrait experience, and before they left they both hugged me and said: “This was amazing!” I could not be more grateful.🤗

We have never done this project before and it is turning up to be SO inspiring! 😍

I mean, I thought it would be fun to create this project – but never expected to be moved to tears, laugh so hard and be fully engulfed in listening to the couple’s stories about how they first met.🫶🏼
