Your life changing chocolate experience awaits!

Have you ever tasted Belgian chocolate? 

I tasted Belgian chocolate for the first time many years ago - in Belgium. And immediately after the first bite - I understood THIS is what chocolate is supposed to be. It was a life changing experience. 

Imagine my glee when I was commissioned to photograph AJ Chocolate House that just opened on Park Ave.

I couldn't have said 'Yes!' quick enough. My team didn't get what the excitement was about  - until we walked into the store, where the most beautiful space awaited us. 

As my team and I were prepping for the photoshoot as Katherin and Edwin - our gracious hostess and my photoshoot subjects - brought out a tray of Belgian chocolates for us to enjoy while we work. I was setting up the light, turned around - and saw my assistant and makeup artist having a life changing chocolate experience - just as I predicted - these two just discovered chocolate heaven. 

My goal for this photoshoot was to capture and convey the casual lux atmosphere AJ chocolate house exudes. I wanted the viewer to feel as if they were surrounded by the essence of this beautiful and tasty new storefront. Like they can smell the European coffee and taste the Belgian chocolate. 

I love this image we created. I think it does just that. 

Needless to say, I am a huge fan of AJ chocolate house. And if you want to find me - there is a good chance I am at AJ Chocolate House, sitting at a table by the window, having a wonderful organic chamomile tea and a slice of homemade cake, under the beautiful chandelier.
